Barry Blackthorn] - Shillelagh Knob Stick – 95.9 cm (37.8”)

This Blackthorn Shillelagh features a lovely knob head that gives a comfortable grip, making it a great all-round stick for hiking, walking support, or simply carrying as a traditional Irish accessory.

The blackthorn has a lovely rustic finish, with natural knuckles along the shaft where the thorns once grew. These markings give the stick plenty of character while preserving the traditional appearance of the wood. It has a solid feel without being overly heavy, making it comfortable to carry on longer walks.

Made in County Offaly, Ireland, this is a one-of-a-kind Blackthorn Shillelagh with the natural variations, knots and markings that make every genuine blackthorn stick different.

You’ll receive the exact stick shown in the photos. The stick can be sized to your preferred length — you can leave a note at checkout or get in touch to discuss, although we generally recommend shortening it yourself once you have it in hand so you can choose the perfect height.

Personalize Your Shillelagh

Make your Shillelagh even more personal by having your chosen name or text burned directly into the shaft. We meet again with our maker, carefully sand down the selected area of your Shillelagh, and then burn in your desired wording for a distinctive, personal finish.

This personalization is available as an optional extra for €40.
