This blackthorn Shillelagh features a sloped L-shaped handle with a door knocker tail, giving it a unique and traditional design. The angled handle adds character and allows for versatile use, especially as a hiking accessory.
Finished with boiled linseed oil, the stick is protected while maintaining its natural look and texture. The blackthorn shaft carries a rustic feel, making it a great example of a traditional Irish stick in a more compact size at 75 cm.
This is a distinctive piece, ideal for light use, hiking, or as a decorative conversation stick with real Irish character.
You’ll receive the exact stick shown in the photo. The stick can be sized to your preferred length — you can leave a note at checkout or get in touch to discuss, but we generally recommend shortening it yourself once you have it in hand so you can choose the perfect height.
Personalize Your Shillelagh
Make your Shillelagh even more personal by having your chosen name or text burned directly into the shaft. We meet again with our maker, carefully sand down the selected area of your Shillelagh, and then burn in your desired wording for a distinctive, personal finish.
This personalization is available as an optional extra for €40.
