Bruiser Bill is a characterful Irish blackthorn shillelagh with a thick shaft, numerous natural knuckles and an unusual hand-filling head that sits somewhere between a knob and an L-shaped handle. A prominent natural mark on the head gives this stick its name and celebrates the rugged character of the blackthorn. Its oiled rustic finish makes it an appealing companion for hiking.
Why you'll love it
Distinctive hand-filling head with a natural marked area
Thick blackthorn shaft with many knuckles
Rustic oil finish
Characterful alternative to a conventional knob or L-handle
A strong choice for hiking
Optional laser-burned personalisation on a rasped and sanded section of the shaft
Personalise your shillelagh: Choose the personalisation option and tell us the name, date or message you would like. We carefully rasp and sand down a section of the shaft to make a smooth space, then laser-burn your chosen wording directly into the wood.
The exact one-of-a-kind shillelagh shown in the photographs is the one you will receive. If you would like a shorter length, leave a note at checkout; we generally recommend adjusting the length once you have the stick in hand so you can judge your preferred height. For questions, Aidan is available via the WhatsApp chat on our website.
