This knarly blackthorn shillelagh features a distinctive root ball head and a thick, sturdy shaft, showcasing the rugged beauty and natural character of Irish blackthorn wood. Its unique shape and textured surface give it an authentic, traditional appearance.
The shaft displays the natural knots, twists and grain of blackthorn, celebrating the woods individual character rather than hiding its imperfections. Finished with oil, the wood is protected while retaining its natural look, rich tones and rustic charm.
You’ll receive the exact stick shown in the photo. The stick can be sized to your preferred length — you can leave a note at checkout or get in touch to discuss, but we generally recommend shortening it yourself once you have it in hand so you can choose the perfect height.
