This distinctive blackthorn shillelagh features a large, complex root ball handle with a wonderfully knarly and irregular shape, showcasing the wild, untamed beauty of natural Irish blackthorn. Its unusual from is not perfectly round, giving it a rugged, almost sculptural appearance that truly highlights the natural roots and character of the wood.
The handle displays an extraordinary combination of twists, curve, knots and natural contours, making it a particularly striking example of blackthorns unique character. the shaft is painted black up to the shoulder, creating a bold contrast between the dark finish and the raw, rustic root ball above.
You’ll receive the exact stick shown in the photo. The stick can be sized to your preferred length — you can leave a note at checkout or get in touch to discuss, but we generally recommend shortening it yourself once you have it in hand so you can choose the perfect height.
