This blackthorn Shillelagh features a humped L-shaped handle, giving it a distinctive profile and a comfortable grip for use. The stick has a lightweight feel, making it easy to carry and ideal for everyday walks or as a hiking accessory.
A standout feature is the natural deer antler markings along the shaft, where rubbing has revealed parts of the wood and bark beneath. This creates a unique pattern and adds real character, making each section of the stick visually interesting.
With its rustic, raw finish, the stick keeps a natural and traditional look. It’s a great conversation piece thanks to its unusual shape and markings, while still being practical and easy to use.
You’ll receive the exact stick shown in the photo. The stick can be sized to your preferred length — you can leave a note at checkout or get in touch to discuss, but we generally recommend shortening it yourself once you have it in hand so you can choose the perfect height.
Personalize Your Shillelagh
Make your Shillelagh even more personal by having your chosen name or text burned directly into the shaft. We meet again with our maker, carefully sand down the selected area of your Shillelagh, and then burn in your desired wording for a distinctive, personal finish.
This personalization is available as an optional extra for €40.
