This blackthorn Shillelagh features a large round knob head, giving a strong and comfortable grip while adding plenty of traditional character to the stick. The substantial knob contrasts nicely with the lighter shaft, giving the stick a distinctive shape and feel.
The shaft has a light, natural appearance, retaining the grain, knots and individual characteristics of the blackthorn. Finished with boiled linseed oil, the wood is protected while maintaining its natural look and bringing out the grain and colour of the blackthorn.
With a medium to heavy weight, this Shillelagh has a solid, substantial feel in the hand, making it a dependable choice for walking or hiking.
You’ll receive the exact stick shown in the photos. This is a one-of-a-kind stick and no two naturally grown blackthorn sticks are exactly the same. The stick can be sized to your preferred length — you can leave a note at checkout or get in touch to discuss, but we generally recommend shortening it yourself once you have it in hand so you can choose the perfect height.
