This Blackthorn Shillelagh features a small natural knob head and a beautifully curved shaft, giving the stick a distinctive traditional appearance. At 106 cm, it is a longer Shillelagh with plenty of natural character from top to bottom.
The shaft has been deliberately kept rustic, rugged and raw, allowing the natural shape and imperfections of the Blackthorn to remain an important part of the stick. The curve follows the way the wood naturally grew rather than being forced into a perfectly straight, uniform shape.
The smaller knob head sits comfortably in the hand and works beautifully with the long, naturally curved shaft. This is a one-of-a-kind Irish walking stick for someone who appreciates Blackthorn in a particularly natural and unrefined form.
You’ll receive the exact stick shown in the photos. The stick can be sized to your preferred length — you can leave a note at checkout or get in touch to discuss, although we generally recommend shortening it yourself once you have it in hand so you can choose the perfect height.
