This Whitethorn Shillelagh is a lovely light stick featuring a natural knob handle that sits comfortably in the hand. Its lighter feel makes it particularly easy to carry for walking, hiking, or as a traditional Irish accessory.
The shaft is one of the standout features, with plenty of natural knuckles giving it great character. Much of the original bark remains intact, preserving the traditional appearance of the whitethorn and allowing the natural markings and texture of the wood to remain visible.
Finished with boiled linseed oil, the wood is protected while retaining its natural colour, bark and rustic character. At 87.1 cm, this is a distinctive traditional Irish stick with a light, comfortable feel and plenty of natural character.
